So glad you found your way to Connoisseurplants.com!

My small nursery is based in South sweden where I grow and sell only the plants I love myself, my ambition is to provide you with a select one-stop-shop of choice plants predominately hardy plants for the rockery and occassionally some cool houseplants and seeds. Hopefully you can also find some helpful advice on how to look after your plants and perhaps bump into a plant that you din not know existed.

Quality assurance:

My plants are propagated by myself from seeds and cuttings from my own selection or from material obtained reliable providers and no material is ever harvested from the wild.

I do not use pesticides or chemicals on my plants as these are harmful to nature, both producers of plants as well as customers need to take responsbility for what we produce and how we consume with consideration to nature and coming generations.

All rockery plants are grown in the open outdoors all year round fully exposed to wind, sun, rain, snow, frost, rainbows and a bunch of insects, kids and animals - typically dogs with huge feet that think plants are soft and nice to walk on and slugs that favour newly hatched seedlings of rare Himalyan species. My plants are grown in small pots in a freely draining mix of sand, grit and compost/turf. This is all very challenging but it assures you that the plants are strong and tough. Many plants being sold today are being raised en masse in coconut fibers with drip water and nutrition in plastic tunnel green houses, they may look fantastic in the shop but when you place them in your garden they will have a hard time adjusting to the nature that they have been protected from all their life .
